Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in diesel engine repair, mechanical knowledge, and a passion for maintaining and repairing vehicles. If you have experience in powertrain systems, welding, and possess excellent customer service skills, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake replacements.
- Diagnose and repair vehicle issues accurately and efficiently.
- Conduct inspections and test drive vehicles to assess their performance.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment to complete repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance recommendations clearly.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic with a focus on diesel engine repair.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to weld when necessary.
- Proficiency in maintaining powertrain systems.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Familiarity with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) is a plus.
- Experience working in a dealership setting is preferred.
